On a chilly spring morning the MASAE club was up early in Newtonville,
Ma at the Masonic Lodge volunteering for the Red Cross blood drive. In
a collaboration with the Youth Modeling Society, MASAE took the time
to give back.
Our kids were assigned tasks and jobs which rotated in shifts
throughout the day. We were busy taking orders, serving hot
breakfasts, cleaning, and assisting the elderly to make a successful
volunteer experience for all of our young members. Every encounter
with the public included a smile and it felt like the movie Pay It
Forward for a minute.
Thanks to everyone that came out and volunteered. Your efforts mean
more than you know. The opportunities given to you in life only become
justified when you make the selfless decision to present those same
opportunities to others. I feel like Reverend Run. Peace and love
y’all!
