It was an amazing (and hectic) evening at the First Parish Church where the second annual MASAE Hoops Awards Banquet was held. Friends and family of MASAE members were in attendance and it was another successful event.
Thanh and Dalena wins the best dressed award for their sharp attire. Jim, Bipin, Phibe, George, and Jamaal took home the MVP honors while the Ashley, Branden, Kenneth, Jeff, Cam, and Ben were our top defenders this year. The smallest player in the entire club came out as the biggest individual winner of the night. Georgey took home the MASAE Scholar award, the MASAE award, and the MVP trophy.
Thanks to our guest speaker, Emmett Folgert for coming through and presenting a very motivational speech. Thanks to YMS for once again helping out with EVERYTHING. Special thanks to Stanley Chu in particular for the sponsorship of the food (Hong Kong Eatery in Quincy) and the fancy sheetcake he got for us from Lyndells (top bakery in the North End. Thank God for the hard work from Phibe in putting together the media and organizing the entire event. And shoutout to my little brother Vanny for handling the videos and nomination visuals. He did an amazing job behind the scenes to make tonight work.

Even if you are happy with your award, then push even harder because nothing reaches the level of greatness without consistency.
